A good day. 15 contestants. Came 12 and would have been higher but a sandbag split and the resulting fix left me down a couple of places. (I didn't have the energy to try the revised lighter weight).

Couple PBs DL 3 reps in the minute 200kg, sandbag to shoulder 3 in the minute at 100kg.

Drive was fine both ways.

I changed blogs and came to this one. The old one has decades of baggage, even in the account name. I didn't want to lose the content so I completed my annual download, then moved to this account.

I've been thinking about what I want from a journal over the coming few years, and it's not what I used to want. It's not introspective noodling; it's introspection with purpose.

I want to keep a brief actual journal to store those banal-seeming memories that later turn out to be important. And I want to write the story of me and H, because otherwise it'll be lost after our time, for reasons I'll explain in that tale.
